Erin works with the NOAA Alaska Fisheries Science Center, studying the impact of ocean acidification on the metabolism of Pacific cod. She previously worked with the Northwest Fisheries Science Center researching the impact of contaminants on salmon in the California Bay Delta and has done habitat analysis profiles for many rivers and streams throughout Washington and Oregon. Erin has spent the last 10 years on the West Coast. However, she grew up on the East Coast, where she got her bachelor’s degree in biology from Millersville University in Pennsylvania and her Master’s degree from the University of West Florida. She spent seven years working at VIMS in a biogeochemistry lab before making her move to the West Coast. Erin is an avid swimmer and loves her cat and dog.
