Bill Chadwick is a researcher in geology and geophysics who studies submarine volcanoes and associated hydrothermal vents. Bill has led many research expeditions to active volcanic seamounts offshore Oregon and in the western Pacific. Bill studies the seafloor using advanced sonars, monitoring instruments, and robotic underwater vehicles.
