Brian Beckman is a salmon physiologist and a Senior Research Associate with CIMERS. Prior to joining CIMERS, Brian was a Research Biologist with the Northwest Fisheries Science Center,  NMFS in Seattle.  Brian's focus is on growth, smolting and maturation of salmon. He has worked extensively in salmon hatcheries of the Columbia River Basin.  In addition, he has been part of the NMFS/OSU/CIMERS juvenile salmon and ocean ecology survey(JSOES)since 2000.
